All pharmacists can recognise many common health complaints. They can give advice or, where appropriate, medicines that will help to clear up the problem. If your problem is more serious and needs attention of a GP, the pharmacist will recognise this and advice you to see your GP.
Many pharmacies are open in the evenings and on the weekends, so if you have a common health problem, a visit to your pharmacy is a good option.

Information and resources on housing, health, living independently, money advice, work, security and other topics that can assist you. Delivered by Leicestershire County Council in partnership with GP’s, the police, health organisations, voluntary groups and social care departments, district and borough councils who are helping adults across the county by working together to make access to services much easier.
