Important Information About Accessing GP Services on Wednesday 24th December & Wednesday 31st  December from 4pm-6:30pm.

Our practice will continue to provide access to care on Wednesday 24th December and Wednesday 31st December, in line with local NHS arrangements. Please read the information below so you know how to get the help you need.

Access to Services Between 16:00 and 18:30

Between 16:00 and 18:30 on these dates. During this time, our services will be delivered through an agreed local arrangement to ensure you can still access care.

Contacting Us by Phone

Between 16:00 and 18:30, all practice telephone calls will be managed and triaged by DHU Healthcare.

  • If you call the practice during this period, your call will be automatically redirected to DHU.
  • After 18:30, our phone lines will return to the usual practice message and arrangements.

Online Requests

From 16:00 to 18:30, you can continue to submit non‑urgent online requests through the NHS App or our practice website. These requests will be reviewed and responded to on the next working day.

For life threatening emergencies please call 999. For urgent medical advice, please call 111.

Please ensure that you order your prescriptions in advance so that you will not run out of medication during the period the surgery is closed.

When We Are Closed

When our practice is closed you can still get support. You can get expert medical advice and useful information by calling NHS 111 or through 111 online https://111.nhs.uk/  

The NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day and can provide patient information, issue prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, book a GP appointment, and, if necessary, refer people to emergency services.

Please only use the out-of-hours service if your medical condition is such that you cannot possibly wait until the surgery opens again.
